Overview

While we generally think of death as an anxiety-producing experience of loss and grief, it can also be a time of great opportunity

While we generally think of death as an anxiety-producing experience of loss and grief, it can also be a time of great opportunity if our minds are prepared. Explore a more expansive view of this natural transition and how it is possible to face death with peace, dignity, and no regrets. Discussion and meditation are included along with practical applications for caregivers. Open to all levels of students with a particular interest in death and dying, hospice work, and all caregivers. Led by Venerable Amy. We will have a break from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Please bring your own lunch. Preparing for Death with Confidence and Compassion (Retreat Day) - Thubten Kunga Ling
