Description

PREPARE/ENRICH is one of the most widely used tools for working with couples preparing for marriage and married couples wanting to improve their relationships. The Rev. Dr. David Gorther, clinical psychologist and Episcopal priest, will offer the one day training in May 2017.

Your registration includes an optional 3 hour afternoon session on Friday, May 5.

The Rev. Dr. David Gortner is Associate Dean of Church and Community Engagement and Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Virginia Theological Seminary.

Will there be food?

Yes, the registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Please let us know of any dietary concerns.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The workshop is on the campus of Virginia Theological Seminary, 3737 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA.

  • Directions: For travel directions go directly to the VTS website at www.vts.edu/directions.
  • Metro: The Metro is the best way to get around the Washington, DC area. The closest Metro stop is the King Street Station which is about three miles away in Old Town Alexandria. A one-way cab ride will cost around $10.00. A DASH bus ride is around $1.60 (free if coming from the Metro).

Where is parking for the workshop?

Parking is available behind the Addison Academic Center on Mission Lane. If this space is full, you may park in any parking space designated for visitors or in any undesignated space on the VTS campus. No parking pass is required. Is there handicap parking available?

Handicap parking is available on the Bishop Walker Circle, the grove side entrance to Addison Academic Center.

Are refunds available?

If you are unable to attend, contact us (lte@vts.edu) and we can work out a a refund or transfer your registration to a future workshop.

A cancellation fee of $10.00 will be applied for cancellations received after May 1.
