AI and Cybersecurity: The History, Workings, Ups, Downs, and Future.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is regularly touted as the panacea for today’s cybersecurity woes. What is it and where did it all start? How is it being used today and what is the future of this technical advancement? AI is in an infancy stage and being readily adopted to provide simpler solutions. This session will explore AI, converging technologies, and what the future of AI holds for cybersecurity.


Speaker Bio:

Keith Rayle has over 20 years of governance and operational security experience, and is currently Security Strategist with Fortinet. His executive-level security consulting background includes: program/portfolio creation & management, board-level reporting, security strategy creation & implementation, and global business security integrations in a variety of industries including: retail, aerospace, banking, healthcare, and manufacturing. As an acting CISO and Director of Security for large corporations, he has led large multi-functional teams and provided oversight of multiple simultaneous and complex implementations of technical security projects. He is also a 21-year military veteran having served as a nuclear weapons technician, helicopter pilot, and operations officer.
