Event description
Join us for an evening of stories and discussion to learn Intuitive Eating Strategies for the Holidays and beyond with True Botanicals.

About this Event

Do you find yourself spending energy around the holidays debating if that cookie is 'worth it' or cancelling dinner with friends to celebrate the season because you feel like you 'ate too much' today? Planning meals ahead of time and having anxiety about the ingredients your family will be using to cook Thanksgiving dinner this year? Well, you are not alone. The holidays can cause stress and anxiety and steer us away from our true selves.

In preparation for the holiday hustle and bustle, join health advocates Nicole Modic (@kalejunkie) and Molly Alliman (@balancedbymolly) at True Botanicals’ self-care sanctuary for an informative and supportive discussion on letting your intuition guide what fills your plate —and letting go of the food guilt, hang-ups, and anxiety so prevalent during the holidays. Tara Parenti, lead skin therapist for True Botanicals, will moderate the conversation, and all attendees will enjoy expert skincare guidance from the True Botanicals team—plus a special 15% discount for use during the event.

Nicole and Molly will be sharing their stories and how they healed their relationship with food and their bodies, and how they approach the holidays from a place of love. We will be opening up the discussion to everyone who attends to share your story, where you are on your journey and answer your questions. And if you would like to come and just listen, we are opening up a safe space to do so.

Nicole Modic // @kalejunkie

Nicole is a Certified Funtional Nutrition Health Coach, wellness obsessed mama of two young boys, on a mission to share her passion for a healthy lifestyle with others. But she wasn't always healthy. From an early age, Nicole had a love-hate relationship with her body, and measured her self-worth based on physical appearance alone. All of this led to a long-time battle with compulsive eating and bulimia, that lasted through her teenage years, law school, and even in her earlier career as a lawyer. She is living proof that true healing from food issues is possible.

Molly Alliman // @balancebymolly

Molly is a Certified Holistic Health Coach who specializes in working with both men and women to make peace with food and find their own definition of food freedom. Molly provided one on one coaching to individual clients in any part of the U.S. who are recovering/recovered from an eating disorder and looking for nutritional guidance to achieve overall health and balanced eating habits. She uses her knowledge and passion to educate her clients on how eating whole foods can lead to a better relationship with food, health and self.
