Event description

Join us for this second webinar in this series of educational sessions for health care providers focusing on sequential stages of caring for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women with opioid and other substance use disorders from screening and engagement in care through the first year postpartum. Ensuring that women receive proper prenatal care and recovery treatment can significantly reduce maternal death, improve pregnancy outcomes, reduce risk of overdose, and increase the likelihood that women can parent their babies. This event will help focus attention toward reducing preventable maternal morbidity and mortality by increasing awareness and knowledge of resources, effective policy, programs, and practice.
