About this Event

The symposium brings together health care professionals and community members to discuss the current state of precision medicine in Arizona, opportunities for the future, and concerns to be addressed with the collection, utilization and storage of precision medicine data. Symposium highlights include:

  • Keynote speaker Deepak Voora, MD, National Director of the PHarmacogenomics Action for cancer SuRvivorship (PHASeR) project, a collaboration between the Veterans Administration Hospital and Sanford health.
  • Keynote speaker Larisa Cavallari, PharmD, ASO Chair & ASO professor in Pharmacotherapy & Translational Research at the University of Florida's College of Pharmacy.
  • An overview of advances in precision medicine at the University of Arizona and our partner institutions.
  • Topic-specific breakout sessions.
  • Practical information on how to implement precision medicine in clinical care.
