Celebrity producer/writer Barney Cohen will speak about horror movies, how to get into them, what to bring to the mayhem, how to make them yourself, and how best to approach him for something he’s developing at the moment, something horrible.
Justifiably famous for writing “Friday the 13th: the Final Chapter” (Paramount) and creating the USA Networks vampire-detective series “Forever Knight” (one of the TV Guide “25 Top Cult Shows Ever!”), he claims to be unjustly underappreciated for writing the much less well known, but richly praised by horror insiders, “Killer Party” (MGM).
He will be bringing "scream queens" Victoria de Mare and Sadie
Katz (both IMDB StarMeter ranked in the top 1/50th of 1 percent of entertainment industry professionals worldside) who will help him guide you into and through this richly rewarding, although often outrageous, film genre.
