Description

When hearing the word "Yoga," what may come to mind are images of physical yoga poses or asanas; however, this is just a small portion of the practice. There are 8 limbs of Yoga. The third limb is Asana (or postures) and the fourth limb is Pranayama (or awareness of one's breath). Breath is essential to life, it is the very first and very last thing we do. In this workshop, we'll learn how the mind, body, and breath are intimately connected and how they can influence each other. Breathing with awareness can be a valuable tool to restore and maintain balance in the mind and body.
