FEBRUARY TOPIC: How to Harness the Power of Time Management to Grow Your Practice with Dr. Amanda Crowell
It's all about balance when it comes to practice building
During this month's Build Your Practice Session, Dr. Amanda Crowell will be sharing her time-tested, rock solid, totally replicable strategy for using her BRAND NEW Aligned Time Journal to grow your practice and enjoy your life. This system and its commitments are THE REASON she's been able to manage a full time job, while raising two kids with her adorable husband, and building a successful coaching practice.
The Aligned Time Journal is based on three key commitments:
1. You have to have to remember what you want. Part of the reason that you may be struggling to make progress is that you forget about your goals! Have you ever woken up a week after setting a goal and realized that you hadn’t done a single thing? It takes work to keep your goals top of mind in the face of everything else you have to do!
2. Successful people don't do more. They do LESS. Said another way: To do more of what matters, you need to do much, much less of "the rest of it.” This takes practice for sure, but it’s entirely doable. And it will change your life.
3. You need to relax into your goals. Part of the reason that you may struggle to take action for what you want is that you are afraid. Afraid that you don’t have what it takes. Afraid that you are being selfish or cocky or self-absorbed for wanting it. Letting go of this fear— a little bit at a time— is a critical piece of unleashing your potential.
So that’s it! You just need to keep your goals in mind, say no to the rest of it, and practice relaxing into the knowledge that you are already enough.
Simple, right?
Simple does not mean easy! But it does mean DOABLE.
