Join master woodworker David Kotz for an enlightening rustic woodworking class in which we’ll learn to make a three legged stool and repair a broken tool handle using local tree trunks and branches, as well as locally milled lumber. Bring one of your broken tools and you’ll leave with a new handle attached!
The class will cover harvesting, drying, and a discussion of the local tree species’ properties, as well as hands-on building of a stool and tool handle. We’ll learn about many of the hand and power tools used in the process and discuss their use in larger projects. And you’ll go home with your new stool in hand!
The class is four hours and limited to six students.
