Online event
Wednesday, July 8  •  11 AM - 12 PM GMT+1
Overview

The final in a series of Funding Application Guidance Webinars by NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) Hub delivered by York and Partners.

Are you keen to submit an NIHR application but unsure where to start? Are you an early-career researcher or are you applying to the NIHR for the first time? The Research Support Service (RSS) is providing a 4-part webinar series to take the mystery out of the funding process.

We will focus on involving patients and communities and making your research inclusive and impactful. While each webinar stands alone, the sessions are curated to build your knowledge from the ground up, finishing with a session on practical tips for preparing your application. You are welcome to attend single sessions, but we recommend attending the complete series.

Each one-hour session features expert-led presentations followed by a 15-minute Q&A. We have tailored the mix of instructional and interactive elements to fit each specific topic— please see below for more information.

This webinar will provide perspectives on what makes a competitive research funding application, including addressing current NIHR priorities.  Drawing on the collective expertise of our RSS Hub across various domestic programmes, we will provide practical tips for pulling together a high-quality application and gain practical pointers on getting your pitch right.
