Event description
In this webinar, we will explore your role as a parent, how to set boundaries, encourage coping skills, and support your child's emotions.

About this event

The D103 Parent Ed team is excited to bring back Dr. Siggie Cohen, a child development specialist with 35 years of experience, this time to focus on the parents of preK - 3rd grade children. During this webinar, Dr. Siggie will discuss the importance of emotional regulation in young elementary school children. Dr. Siggie will explore her Emotional Behavioral Proficiency (EBP) Model that explains how a child's external behavior is directly connected to their internal emotions. We will learn why it is difficult to change a child's behavior without addressing their emotional state. Dr. Siggie will help provide parents with practical solutions, scripts, and tools on how to better connect with their children and address common parenting challenges.

This webinar is stand alone from Dr. Siggie's presentation in January. You need not to have attended Dr. Siggie's January's presentation to attend and learn from this webinar. We look forward to seeing you there!
