Our Speakers are from renowned media agency, Impression, as well as past speakers at BrightonSEO, HeroConf, SMX and more.

5:30pm: Arrive, say hello, and grab a drink on us!

6.00pm: Introduction to PPC Live UK

6.15pm: Talk 1 - Yasmin Williams - Contextualising Your Paid Performance

This talk will give you case studies and real life examples of how to gather free third party insights to understand your Paid performance. You'll learn how to take this to the next level, and let the wider world influence your strategy.

About Yas - I have 5 years experience working both agency side and in-house, predominantly based in London. My specialism lies in paid search, however, throughout my years in the field I’ve broadened my horizons into strategic overviews of the wider paid media offering. At Impression, no two days are ever the same! From chatting with key client contacts, hosting team workshops and developing department initiatives, I cover a lot of ground.

6:45pm: Talk 2 - Richard Ingilby - What are the pillars of PPC?

SEO has its 4 pillars (or maybe 3, depending on who you ask), but what are the pillars of PPC? What are the foundational structures of our jobs?

These pillars are important. They are a way of framing our profession, to make our work understandable for key stakeholders, and to structure the training of young PPCs.

Rich hopes to use this session to present his theory of what the pillars should be. He will almost certainly be wrong. But, he hopes to use the inaugural PPC Live UK to join together and get to a conclusion on the pillars of PPC

About Rich - Previously a paid media director who has been involved with award-winning campaigns across multiple industries, I have moved into a role focusing on wider growth whilst never losing his search-nerd habits and credentials. My combining years of paid media experience with an unhealthy interest in coding and data science has led to both a part-time master’s degree in the latter and innovative strategies in the former.

7:15pm: --- 20 MIN BREAK ---

7:35 pm: Talk 3 - Anu Adegbola - How not to approach automation

We are well within the age of automation. It's been evolving for several years now. But there are still many misconceptions about its maturity. You will be given clear tips on how to manage expectations of clients so that the can get the best out of it without being disillusioned with the less than perfect results from an automation test.

About Anu - I have been doing Paid Search for over 12 years and I love it! I love how it’s evolved, our community and the fact that there’s always something new to learn. I am currently Paid Search Account Director of Marin Software and love speaking to clients about how best they can use our tool to grow their business. I host and produce the PPCChat Roundup podcast and am the founder of PPC Live UK

8pm: Q&A: All speakers back on stage for some questions
