Event description

Description

"Full-time workers who identify as women made only 80 cents for every dollar earned by men, a gender wage gap of 20 percent. Women of color earn even less." (source: www.aauw.org)

By popular demand we are offering a special in-person Salary Negotiations workshop with the amazing Michelle Kim who has designed a highly rated program aimed at empowering women and people of color (all genders welcome) who have been statistically shown to be paid significantly less than their white male counterparts on average.

Please check out a feature of our last program in Black Enterprise here.

Join us on September 26th, at 6PM at The Port Workspaces in Oakland's historic Kaiser Mall to learn the core skills/techniques required to successfully negotiate a job offer, including how to respond when you are asked "what is your current salary?" Not sure if you can make the date? No worries! Cancel within 72 hours for a full refund. Be sure to take advantage of limited early bird registration pricing.

Attendees will receive:

  • Light food and beverages
  • The chance to participate in negotiation scenario role-playing
  • A copy of the workshop presentation
