Do you have an exciting Clean Technology that works in the lab? Do you need some funding to build a prototype…or to test one in the real-world environment? Would you like help to start a company to commercialize the technology?
We would like to help you and would love to see your proposals!
Please come to an information session for PowerBridgeNY to learn more about the program described briefly below.
With $10M in funding by NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority), PowerBridgeNY is a collaborative effort between Columbia University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Stony Brook University, Cornell University’s NYC Tech, Polytechnic Institute of NYU, NYU, and the City University of New York.
PowerBridgeNY will provide support to project teams from these institutions to help commercialize promising clean energy technologies, either via the formation of a start-up or by licensing the technology to an existing company. This support may include providing funding of up to approximately $150K for research validation and prototype development; active mentoring from industry veterans and venture investors; project management assistance; competitive landscaping; business plan development; and more. To learn more, please join us for the upcoming information session:
Hosted by John Blaho, CUNY campus representative of PowerBridgeNY, this session will provide information on applicant eligibility, application details, and the overall program and timeline.
If you cannot attend the session, but are interested in learning more about PowerBridgeNY please email your Campus Representative or visit www.powerbridgeny.com to view the presentation slides and application materials.
