I am a 200HR registered yoga teacher, certified through Yoga Alliance. I am blessed to be able to do something I love! I took my first yoga class after being a runner for over 20 years. As a runner, skier, and hiker, I had tight hips and hamstrings. That first yoga class was very challenging, yet something drew me to want to learn more. After practicing for over 10 years, a slip on an icy sidewalk while walking my adorable terriers injured my back. My yoga practice helped me heal. That experience was my inspiration to become a teacher. I have a keen understanding that no two yogis are alike. I want my students to practice in a way that works best for their body. I find that yoga is a perfect place to reconnect with our true self, let go of the stresses and strains, to move, to breathe, and to have fun! Yoga allows one to slow down and go inward. My hope for you is to take the sense of calm and joy you find on your mat out into the rest of your life!
