Description

***NEW DATE SEPTEMBER 17***

Join some of the country’s leading clean energy experts and advocates for a fun, inspiring, and informative cruise around the Block Island Wind Farm – America’s first and only offshore wind project. The event is being organized by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE).

WHY: Women across industry, government, advocacy, and philanthropy are at the forefront of today’s clean energy revolution. This event is intended to celebrate these contributions and facilitate networking. Attendees will hear from leading experts on how offshore wind can be a critical part of America’s energy supply. States from Massachusetts to Maryland are now working to build enough offshore wind energy to power over 3 million homes by 2030. It’s time to raise a glass to our shared commitment to a clean energy future and working together to make it happen!
