Join Margie Cook and Liz Eustace for a day of discovery in the gorgeous setting of the New Farm, in Creemore, Ontario.
The day will begin with some mind-clearing meditation and movement, followed by an interactive cooking extravaganza with nutritionist and Plants on Plates founder, Margie Cook. Margie will share her vast knowledge of food and her passion for cooking while explaining the nurturing, healing and immune-boosting power of a plant-based diet. By the end of the session, participants will have the skills to prepare simple, delicious, quick and affordable dishes in their own homes. Cooking demos will include such staples as vegan butter, cheese and pâté; an interactive salad bar with hands-on learning opportunities (rolling rice paper, collards and nori), and a guilt-free raw dessert—all of which will be enjoyed over lunch. Margie will share recipes and valuable insights on the healing power of plants, along with tips for making your home kitchen healthier.
After lunch, settle in with Liz and spend the afternoon exploring your unique leadership style. Unearth your best self by examining how you respond, react, listen and communicate—whether at home or at work—in order to become a more effective leader. You’ll leave this part of the day with a clearly defined vision in three separate domains of your life (health, personal and career), and with goals and declarations to support your vision. Expect a shift in perspective that will enable more joy and possibility in your life.
