In this seminar you will learn both how we can intentionally affect the the energetic qualities of foods with various cooking techniques and how, in return, different foods affect us. Create new dimensions of meaning in your life and a fresh connection with food -- our most tangible and vital connection with nature. Apply these concepts and tools in order to guide the direction of your health and your life -- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually! The seminar also includes hands-on cooking and Shiatsu massage classes.

Strengthening Health Institute
The Strengthening Health Institute is an educational non-profit organization founded in 1997, striving to make the world a healthier place by promoting plant-based diet and natural lifestyle. Our educational programs guide people to lasting health and well-being through the understanding and practice of a time-tested plant-based diet and contemporary macrobiotic principles. Cooking classes, lectures, seminars and advanced trainings help hundreds of people improve their energy level and recover from various health problems.
Our teaching faculty is lead by Denny Waxman, world-renowned author, health counselor, and long standing figure in macrobiotics. Susan Waxman brings the SHI kitchen to life with cooking techniques that make maximize nature’s best flavors and nutritional values.
