Experience the intensity of Jamaican musical culture and the vibrancy of its rhythms in Power Game - A Reggae Musical. She wants to sing! A group of talented actors, musicians and singers weave this story with a Reggae thread. Power Game is directed Malachi Smith, world renowned Dub Poet and writer, along with Jamaican musical genius Pablove Black musical director. Acclaimed actors, Mark Danvers, Elvis Morris and Oliver Davis along with up-and-coming singers and songwriters - Shemana Dixon, Chanel Wright and Corlene Fraser are among the stellar cast of Power Game.
Book and music by Ettosi Brooks, much of whose work is influenced by Cedric Im Brooks formerly of the Skatalites band and Light of Saba. Stunning visuals from SASA African Dance Theater Company's choreography. Power Game - A Reggae Musical is presented by Women in Music Ayo.
