Jason is the Director of Station Engineering at Pickering and is at the helm of a 300-member team of engineers. He passionately champions Innovation & Technology to advance technological solutions within OPG’s nuclear fleet and within the overall nuclear industry. He is also the proud founder of an innovation accelerator, affectionately called ‘X-LAB.’ The accelerator’s purpose is to create an environment that encourages and fosters creative thinking across OPG, drive the development of out-of-the-box solutions, engage employees, implement efficiency improvements, and develop new revenue streams. Jason’s team of high-performing, technologically savvy and enthusiastic individuals has taken innovation at OPG to uncharted territory, improving the culture and mindset around innovation in the company.

In his spare time, Jason is a ‘collector of hobbies’ and enjoys hockey, curling, chess, golf, and relaxing at the cottage. Jason currently resides in Brooklin, Ontario with his wife, Kathryn.
