Do you have data that's just sitting around? Do you have Power BI but aren't quite sure what to do with it? Have you started playing with Power BI and now you're ready to take it to the next level? Join us for Intro to Power BI!
Learners will need an active Power BI license (Pro license is optimal) prior to the start of class. If you don't already have one, contact the KCIT Help Desk for license activation; you may need supervisor approval.
In this class, learners will gain knowledge of:

Excel Formatting for Power BI - get rid of those color coded cells, and properly format your Excel files before importing into Power BI
- Other Data Sources for Power BI - add multiple csv files, and mine the rich data available in SharePoint and Dynamics CRM
- Dashboards Made Easy - within Power BI, query and transform your data, set relationships between tables, use visualizations to tell your data's story, and publish for others to see and consume
- Dive Into Data - get more in depth with Power BI visual tools like GIS maps, animated scatter charts, alerts, forecasting and infographic designer
