Event description

Description

Have you ever wondered what it is like living in poverty?

If you had to choose among food, shelter, utilities or medication, what would you pick? It’s a tough question! Join us for two-hour dynamic simulation led by Crisis Control Ministry and experience the realities of poverty, including the challenges of navigating the complex world of government services and other essential services. Participants assume the roles of different families facing poverty who are looking to provide basic necessities and shelter while balancing the requirements of various service providers with the realities of daily life. We hope you can join us for this unique experience!

The simulation will last from 6-8pm. The $10 charge goes to cover the poverty simulation materials provided by Crisis Control Ministry. Please feel free to share this event with others who might be interested.
