About this event

Inclusivity. Relevancy. Accessibility. Affordability. Effectiveness.

National leadership at First Ladies of Poverty Foundation is dedicated to assuring high-impact services and high-level mentorship for a growing number of entrepreneurial-minded changemakers and expansion of our advocacy efforts. We set forward-thinking goals with a clear, informed strategic direction in partnership with ethical local leadership that puts the people front and center.

Our leadership consists of FLP's C-Suite Leaders (CEO, etc.), Board of Directors and Committee Members. The majority of funding and sponsor-ships is used to create, host and promote entrepreneurial and investing programming, as well as community development initiatives, like the ones below. Informed by the primary and secondary experiences and research of BIPOC / Minority / Underprivileged and their families conducted by First Ladies of Poverty Foundation, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all people--regardless of color, race, gender or economic background.

This think tank is for anyone seeking to:

  • meet weekly to discuss poverty and solutions (mental, emotional, financial, environmental, workforce development, housing, public services, government, taxes, civil law and more), as well as the role and opportunities for business/ entrepreneurship, investing and wealth building
  • interested in learning how to earn some extra money with First Ladies of Poverty Foundation and represent their community in our poverty reduction framework
  • attain financial mobility and a higher quality of living for themselves, their families and their loved ones
