Description

Join Nine Network, KDHX, and ArchCity Defenders for a screening and discussion of POV: Whose Streets? The film is an unflinching look at the August 2014 Ferguson, MO, uprising after Michael Brown, was killed. Some of the filmmakers’ footage for the documentary was screened in the Public Media Commons back in 2015.

Screening begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Panel discussion

Moderator: Blake Strode, Executive Director, ArchCity Defenders

Confirmed panelists: Dr. Kira Hudson Banks, Associate Professor, Psychology, Saint Louis University; Kayla Reed, Organizer and Activist (featured in film)

This event is outdoors. Bring chairs for seating. In case of inclement weather, this event will move indoors. A cash bar will be available. Parking is free in the lot adjacent to Nine Network, entrance on Spring Street.
