Description

On Thursday, November 16, Q-TV will be hosting a special screening of “POV: Two Towns of Jasper” at the Flint Institute of Arts. "Two Towns of Jasper" looks at how friends Whitney Dow, who is white, and Marco Williams, who is black, followed the events of their town after the brutal murder of African-American James Byrd, Jr. by three white supremacists in Jasper, Texas in 1998. Doors open at 7pm, screening begins at 7:30pm. Plus join Q-TV's Soul Issue host, Darold Newton, afterwards for an in depth discussion of the film with local community leaders.
