Poughkeepsie Journal iPhone Video Class
Event Information
Description
Ever wish you could make viral videos? Want to capture your family events with a little added flair?
Now, you can learn how to shoot videos and edit them right on your iPhone – at the Poughkeepsie Journal’s video training class.
Hosted by Journal Music Writer John Barry and Planning Editor Phil Strum, this class will show you how to shoot video clips on your iPhone, and then edit them together into a compelling narrative using the iMovie app.
We’ll show you not only how to edit the clips, but also how to embellish them with transitions (such as fade-to-black), voiceovers and even still shots (complete with Ken Burns-style zooming effects).
These videos can then be uploaded to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or other social media.
To take part in this class you will need to bring your own iPhone with the iMovie app already purchased, downloaded and installed on your phone. Sorry, this class is not for users of Android phones.
