POTTERY WORKSHOP - Intro to Wheel Throwing (2 day workshop)

• This is an excellent taster workshop designed for those who would like to have a go on the potter's wheel

• Catering for beginners with no previous experience this workshop introduces you to the steps and techniques to make bowls and other forms

• With demonstrations and plenty of one on one time with the instructor, you will be making your own wheel-thrown pottery in no time to take home, use and enjoy

• The workshop is held in our friendly and supportive studio, with a maximum of 5 participants

• The fee for the workshop (2 x 5 hours) includes tuition, clay, glazes and 2.5kg of firing

• We will glaze your creations for you or alternatively you can enrol in a 4 hour glazing workshop and learn to decorate and glaze your pottery

• All classes are for adult attendees

ART & DESIGN STUDIO is a boutique art studio based in Mandurah, Western Australia. In our studio we create sculptural works and bespoke ceramic objects for home interiors, restaurants and private commissions.

Our small production studio has grown into a place for the exploration of art and design through an innovative program of creative activities and classes that build a culture of learning, creative development and expression.
