Event description

Description

You can have a fish swimming in your garden...no water needed!

These weather resistant fish will be created in stoneware with your choice of glazes. After the introduction and demonstration, even beginners will be comfortable exploring textures and color to create a one-of-a-kind water lover. An ideal pottery workshop for beginners, or a great mom and child workshop for Mother's Day, you will get the clay to form your fish and then add colored underglazes of your choice. Your fish then perches on top of a stake, ready to display in your landscape.

$60. All supplies and firing expenses are included, along with the metal rebar for installing in the garden. The workshop is limited to 14 participants for one-on-one instruction. Your finished piece will require two types of firing, first bisque firing and then glaze firing, after which it will be available for pick up back at North Haven in 2-3 weeks.

Come inside and create some hands-on art with us!
