Event description

Description

How about teatime for just you this fall?

Fall is a wonderful time to sit down, enjoy a cup of tea, and appreciate the changes in the garden. You can be inspired by the fruits and beautiful colors of the autumn season: the gourds and pumpkins. An ideal pottery workshop for beginners, clay artist Rebecca Boatman will guide you thorough the hand building process to create a functional, one-of-a-kind tiny teapot-- just for you or for a handmade gift.

$60. All supplies and firing expenses are included. The workshop is limited to 14 participants for one-on-one instruction. Your finished piece will be dried and glaze-fired, after which it will be available for pick up back at North Haven.

Note our workshop starts at 3:00pm. Come inside and create some hands-on art with us!

Rebecca Boatman's work includes both sculptural and functional ceramics made in her studio in East Dallas. She participates in the White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour, the oldest artist’s tour in the metroplex. Her sculptures are included in collections throughout the U.S., including Johnson & Johnson, Xerox Corporation, Eastman Kodak, and Volunteer Hospitals of America. Rebecca regularly offers art workshops at North Haven Gardens.
