In this workshop held at the beautiful Little Batch Wax Co. Studio in Pukekohe, Bex from R Ceramics (@r__ceramics) will begin with a demonstration of how to make a mug using basic pottery hand-building slab techniques. You’ll then go through the process with her support, creating a mug designed and decorated by you.
Bex will (carefully) take your creation home. She will bisque fire it, glaze it in your choice of white, clear or black, then do a final firing. Your mug will be ready approximately 3 weeks later for collection from either Bex's Hunua home studio, or the Little Batch Wax Co. Studio in Pukekohe or by alternative arrangement.
No need to bring anything but yourself on the day – all materials, aprons, and ideas (if you want them) are provided.
