REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED.
Wow! When Potomac Riverans set out to make a difference, you do it in a big way! So many of you have signed up to get your hands dirty for clean water that this event is now full. Please check out our event page for more ways you can join this local movement for clean water.
One day, one river, one big impact!
Join Potomac Conservancy and Potomac Riverkeeper Network at Fletcher's Cove as do our part to clean up the River as a part of the Alice Ferguson Foundation's Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup. Last year, more than 9,000 volunteers from across the region removed 334,000 pounds of trash from the Potomac's shorelines. That's the weight of 83 hippopotamuses!
So grab a friend and get your hands dirty for clean water! Together we'll keep the Potomac free of litter so this national treasure can remain a great place to bike, hike, paddle, and fish.
We're also hosting volunteers in Northern Virginia at Jones Point Park. Sign up here!
