Our approach is based on 60 years of combined playing/teaching experience--training youngsters of all ages and skill levels. The YBC program is designed to challenge everyone. We have developed a fun, interesting, proven, interactive curriculum--including class tournaments--enhancing the skills necessary to succeed in both Chess and life's daily challenges. Are you ready?

Chess Set & Carry Bag: If you don't have a Chess board set at home, you will definitely need one in order to practice what you've learned each week! Email Dr. B at YourBestChess2016@gmail.com to order. $20.00/Set (Includes board, pieces and carry-bag).

Behavior Policy: Parents, please note--We at YBC make our Chess classes a lot of fun! Although, as there are deep-level thinking/reasoning skills being taught here, please be aware that your child will be expected to pay attention, be respectful and engage in their Chess games during "Practice Time". If, at any time, your child decides to throw the pieces and/or disrupt the Chess board, turn their back on the instructor(s), and/or show disregard for authority, it will be necessary for us to contact you regarding the situation. If it continues, we will politely ask you to remove your child from the class. No refunds will be given.
