The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network is offering Postvention Training on January 22 at the Knox County Health Department.

This is a full-day training geared towards preparing you to be a part of the TSPN East Tennessee Postvention Response Team.

The Postvention Response Team:

-Meets regularly to create procedures and systems to address suicide deaths in the region.

-Is capable and willing to respond to suicide deaths in schools, businesses, assisted living facilities, and other controlled environments.

-Provides individual and group debriefing to those that have expereinced a recent suicide loss.

-Provides administrative support to systems experiencing a loss through providing guidance and following best practice.

Please make sure that you have a flexible schedule and can respond to suicide deaths in the East Tennessee Region before signing up.
