Event description
Become more effective in your communications and how you present yourself in this course designed specifically for women.

About this Event

Do you want to feel more effective in your communications. Would you like to be more in control over how you present yourself and come across to others?

Does speaking with others sometimes feel exhausting or stressful?

If you hear or see a recording of yourself, do you feel surprised or displeased with how your voice sounds, your posture, and how you move?

If this sounds like you, it’s a sign that you’re living in your head and unconsciously taking your body along for the ride.

Your posture, movements, and voice (aka your body) are what you communicate with...and it's time to get back in charge.

For 12 years I’ve been teaching people how to improve posture, movement, breathing and voice by making subtle, sustainable, and effective changes (ie this is not about lifting your chest and pulling your shoulders back!).

I can help you take charge and make more conscious choices about how you hold yourself, move, and interact on a moment to moment basis and also how to manage energy and avoid burn-out.

Finding time to rest and rejuvenate is only half the battle. What if you could interact and communicate in a way that not only gets you the results and connections you want professionally and socially, but also nourishes you and generally improve your quality of life?

The key is learning how to get out of living in your head and to get into your body. This three-day small group course will of your practical tools to do just that in everyday situations.

Who is this course for?

Women of all ages who want more to be more effective and and find more joy in interacting. This course will be especially appreciated by women who would describe themselves as ambitious introverts...highly motivated, but easily stressed out or exhausted.

What to expect:

  • A small group that will be a safe environment in which to take risks to change habits, offer and receive feedback, and grow through joyful interactions and connections (ie expect to have fun and make friends)
  • Individual hands-on instruction within a group context
  • Resources to help you bring what you've learned out into the "real world"
  • Two follow-up hour-long group online check-in sessions on Zoom during the weeks following the course. (To be scheduled at the end of the course.)
