Event description

Description

POSTPONED Thank you for your interest in this event. Due to United Way’s focus on Hurricane Harvey recovery and the imminent Irma landfall, we have decided to postpone the conversation until a later date.

Global youth unemployment is a staggering 13.1 percent, more than triple the U.S. unemployment rate. Even more young people struggle to find good jobs. Join us September 21 for an interactive conversation about youth employment to gain insight into how nonprofits, governments and corporations are collaborating to solve this issue.

Brian Gallagher, United Way Worldwide President and CEO joins Dr. Mona Mourshed a McKinsey & Co. analyst who leads the Generation youth jobs initiative, Andrew R. Hanson of the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, and young workers to look at the problem and highlight innovative solutions.
