Dear Community, Due to the evolving risk associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, and Thursday's announcements by San Francisco Mayor London Breed and many more cases in Santa Clara County and San Francisco County, Persian Women In Tech regrets to inform everyone that this year's Nowruz Gala at San Francisco City Hall is officially cancelled. This was a very difficult decision for all of us, but out of an abundance of extreme caution for the health and well-being of our guests as well as our volunteers, artists, vendors and staff we feel it is the right decision. Thank you to all who have supported this year's event, including all our sponsors, vendors, performers, and volunteers who have put in so many long hours and spent so much energy in preparing for this year's celebration. If you have purchased tickets to the Gala your tickets will be refunded by Persian Women In Tech, we will contact you directly this coming week. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we hope to welcome you back at next year's Nowruz Celebrations in 2021.
