GORGE TOURISM SUMMIT

Join us for a day to discuss the latest changes, issues, solutions, and long-term vision for all things tourism in our region.

Topics include:

• Gorge Local Food (Restaurants/Farms/Wines/Ciders/Brews)
• Outdoor Recreation and the Threat of Overtourism
• Transit Wins
• Welcomability
• Culture, Culture, Culture

The day will feature rapid-fire updates of new projects, panels of experts, chances to meet and connect with people, and a delicious lunch.

The morning includes a deep dive focused on local food. This is a chance for folks to connect and tap into the power of collaboration to support our restaurants, farms and many beverages. Special tickets for food folks!

PRE-SUMMIT EVENT $15:

And join us the night before (Tues, May 2) for the MAGIC TOUR BUS OF THE EAST GORGE FOOD TRAIL with stops at the Balch Hotel, Terra de Lobos winery, and Bargeway Pub (Price covers bus, drinks, and appetizers at first two stops. Dinner will be no-host at final stop.) Pick up/drop-offs available from Discovery Center, Cousins, and Balch Hotel.

• 4pm Pick up at Discovery Center → Cousins (4:10pm) to Balch Hotel
• 4:30pm First Stop: Balch Hotel for Drinks + Appetizers
• 5:30pm Bus leaves Balch Hotel
• 6pm Bus picks up at Discovery Center*
• 6:15pm Second Stop: Tierra De Lobos Winery for Wine tasting + Appetizers
• 7:30pm Third Stop: Bargeway Pub (no-host) + music
• 9:30pm Bus drops people at Cousins, Discovery Center
• 10:00pm Bus back to Balch for the night
• (7:30am) Bus to Discovery Center next morning for Summit*

*If staying at Balch, you have the option of parking car at Discovery Center for the night
