Service, Not Sacrifice: A Strategy for Leadership Success
How does helping others enhance your ability to lead? Service and civic engagement produce positive, sustainable results to address communities’ most pressing problems. There are also changes—both personal and professional—that occur for individuals as a result of being engaged in service. What ways can civic engagement advance your career and enhance your leadership vision? How can ‘service as a strategy’ maximize the power and potential of women’s leadership?
Join us as we explore these questions, reflect on personal experiences, and identify the impact of service and civic engagement on professional and leadership development. College is full of idealism and a critical mass around service and civic engagement. How can you harness your desire to “do good” and translate that into your strategy for professional and leadership success?
