POSTPONED: Civic Saturday in Oklahoma City
Event Information
Description
CIVIC SATURDAY HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE FALL.
For more information, please contact taneum@citizenuniversity.us.
During a time of such disconnection and cynicism taking place in civic life, Civic Saturday is designed to be a salve for the civic soul — a place to come together in civic community, be inspired and encouraged to reflect and connect, and create new civic traditions that are joyful and communal.
What happens at Civic Saturday?
We'll gather as friends and strangers to hear readings, come together in song, share thoughts and ideas, and hear a "civic sermon" from Eric Liu.
Join us as we bring this program to Oklahoma City to continue nuturing a spirit of shared civic purpose across the country.
This event is free and open to all!
This Civic Saturday is produced by Citizen University in partnership with Mayor David Holt, Generation Citizen, and Let's Fix This.
