Event description

Description

Maybe you’ve heard of positive psychology: the scientific study of what helps people do well in life. This branch of psychology isn’t concerned with curing disease or resolving dysfunction, but with finding what works and helping people get more out of life.

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn:

  • what positive psychology is (and isn’t)
  • why a good life is much more than shallow happiness
  • seven simple strategies for moving from surviving life to thriving in life
  • how to apply these strategies with others

The workshop is perfect for coaches, counselors, parents, or anyone who wants to get more out of life and help others do the same.

Workshop leader is Chad Hall, MCC. Chad is the Director of Coaching at Western Seminary and the President of Coach Approach Ministries. An expert in the field of positive psychology, Chad’s doctoral dissertation focuses on how Christian coaches, counselors and pastors can integrate positive psychology principles into their professional practices.
