You can sign-up as an individual and we will add you to a team or you can form your own team with your postdoc friends!

What is a Pub Quiz?

A Pub Quiz is a trivia contest wherein teams made up of intellectual dynamos, international scholars, and practical scientists gather together to match wits with each other and with Dr. Andy Jones, longtime UC Davis faculty member and your Quizmaster. And in pursuit of his Quizmasterly duties, Dr. Andy has researched, written and wordsmithed 30 questions on a variety of topics that you should know something about. These topics will include history, literature, current events, technology, religion, geography, international relations, and pop culture, including movies, television, and music. The pub quiz will feature questions on sports, books and authors, the City of Davis, and on everyone’s favorite topic, SCIENCE!

Presenter: Dr. Andy has been hosting pub quizzes in Davis since 2007, and has performed for corporate and foundation clients in Cincinnati, Portland, San Francisco, and Washington DC.
