Description

Please join me in honoring Specialist Trevor A. Win'E. On April 24, our community will come together to memorialize Army Spc. Trevor A. Win’E by naming his community Post Office after him.

It was my honor to introduce a bill, which was signed into law on Dec. 6, 2018, to name the Orange Post Office on Tustin Avenue after Trevor A. Win’E, an U.S. Army soldier who died in Iraq in 2004.

Trevor, an Orange County native who was born in Costa Mesa and went on to reside in the City of Orange, joined the U.S. Army in 2002 following the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks. Trevor was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington, where he served with the Army's 24th Quartermaster Company.

On April 30, 2004, Specialist Win’E sustained injuries in Iraq from an explosive device. Sadly, the following day, Trevor succumbed to his injuries at the age of 22, exactly two years from his first day of enlistment.

Please join me to show our deep appreciation for Trevor and his family's sacrifice to their community and country.
