Event description

Description

Caring for aging and frail, chronically or seriously ill, and dying persons is a fundamental responsibility of any society, yet it presents aging and health care managers with many challenges.

How do business and community leaders and agencies, health care providers, and health and aging professionals, design and deliver high-quality care ethically and efficiently? How and by whom is the value of care determined? How do we prepare for reform in the aging and health care sectors and a restructured aging and health care workforce, while working to eliminate health inequities among diverse populations?

This interdisciplinary Executive Education Certificate Program offers masters-enrolled or post-master’s students an opportunity to examine these important questions during a two-weekend intensive course. The program will include policy and clinical applications in participants’ chosen concentrations, and counseling in career pathways planning for the expanding aging and health sector job markets.

This program is a masters level intensive scheduled for 2/9/18 through 2/12/18. The hours are as follow: 2/9 - 2/11 from 9am to 6pm and 2/12 from 9am to 12pm. Participants must attend each class.
