Join voting experts and community members from local Washington, D.C for a session on post-election voter scenario planning.

About this Event

You are invited to join the virtual citywide Post-Election Scenario Planning for Local Washington D.C., on October 29, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

Along with partner organizations, Mothers Outreach Network, Inc., Fair Budget Coalition, and JMG Productions, Inc., Listen To Our Voices are convening members of the wide-ranging D.C. community who are committed to creating an inclusive, fair, and humane city and to fostering a healthy, participatory democracy.

Breakout sessions will be facilitated by local community leaders from youth and diverse communities, and D.C. residents and representatives of local organizations will brainstorm around how community members can respond to possible outcomes from the 2020 Presidential Election in a manner that advances equal justice for all local Washington DC communities.

Overview of Agenda and Post-Election Scenario Planning:

  • Combating Misinformation
  • Supporting Free Speech and Safe Assembly
  • Maintaining Local Government Functions
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Communities
