The City of Portola is offering fun and safe campsites located within the City for the Lost and Found Gravel Grinder Bike Race, June 6th, 2020 Choose to camp for one, two, three or four days during the race in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. City amenities include a pool, several amazing restaurants, basketball court, skateboard park, pump track, bike trails, volleyball, and horseshoe pit.
Ticket includes a free daily shower pass. Purchase of the three day camping pass grants you the fourth day free!
There will be live music on Friday & Saturday. The festivities will include Lost and Found Awards Ceremony, food trucks, beverage garden, big name entertainment band and with local vendors and more!
The Under 18 Bike race will be held in the City Park after the Gravel Grinder Event.
"GRIT GRINDER” teenage race ages 14 to 17
First Place: $100.00 & a Trophie
Second Place: $75.00 & a Trophie
Third Place: $25.00 & a Trophie
Intense 4 laps of teeth gritting fun - with Jumps, rollers and technical single track.
Sign up early for a chance to win $100, but you better hurry as entries will be limited to 20 riders!
There will be three different kids races to accomidate all age groups up to 13.

1st race ages 3 to 5
2nd race ages 6 to 10
3rd race ages 11 to 13
Campgrounds are located in various locations throughout the City (see YouTube video link below). You can also call City Hall, 35 Third Avenue, Portola, CA 96122 AT 530-832-6803. For any questions.
- Camping locations are "first come first serve"
- Wednesday and Thursday you MUST CHECK IN AT CITY HALL LOCATED AT 35 THIRD AVE- You will receive your camping and shower pass. Camping pass is required to be displayed on tent, auto or rv.
- Friday camping registration along with rider signups will be will be at Memorial Hall, 449 West Sierra ave (Sierra Ave is Hwy 70)
Both tent camping and RV camping are allowed and available in designated areas. There is no need to specify the type of camping you are booking (it is first come, first served). There are plenty of great accommodations for either RV or Tent camping.
