SPEAKERS
Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA, Practice Transition Broker
Rod has been a practice broker in the Pacific Northwest since 2004 with hundreds of transitions and valuations under his belt. Rod's background combines finance, accounting and dental consulting which makes the perfect blend for a practice broker. He has an MBA from Seattle University, is a Certified Management Accountant and an Accredited Business Appraiser. Rod is the founder of Omni Practice Group.
Buck Reasor, DMD, Practice Transition Broker
Buck is a retired dentist who now focuses on helping other dentists in the transition process. Buck takes the fear out of practice transitions through his experience of selling dental practices and his understanding of the nuances of the process. The founder of Reasor Professional Dental Services LLC, Buck transitions practices in the Western United States.
Megan Urban, Practice Transition Broker
Megan has been serving the dental industry for over 25 years. She began her journey as a dental assistant and ultimately became a Regional Manager for a large dental group. She has an extensive background in helping dental teams reduce stress and become more profitable by locating areas of opportunity and helping set solid systems within the practice. Her clients appreciate that she customizes their plans to their practice so they can easily maintain them and have continued growth. She also assists her clients in buying or selling their practices.
Greg Englund, Attorney
Greg is an attorney licensed in Oregon and Washington. His business and corporate practice emphasizes the legal needs of dentists. His practice concentration includes representation of buyers and sellers in sales, acquisitions and transitions, entity formation, office leases, associate agreements, and employment law. His experience includes work on well over 500 sales transactions.
Donna Klostermann, CPA
Donna is a CPA that has worked with the dental community in the Northwest for over 25 years. During that time, her focus has been on working directly with the Doctors and their teams to advise on various accounting and tax matters. Her CPA services include consulting on practice transitions, tax planning, tax return preparation and practice profitability consulting.
Chris Kane, SVP / Commercial Banking Team Lender
Chris Kane holds a degree in finance from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. After beginning his professional career with Merrill Lynch and Fidelity Investments in Boston, Chris relocated to Portland, OR, with his wife in August 2002. Shortly thereafter, Chris joined Columbia Bank and held the title of Senior Vice President, a team leader in the Private and Professional Banking Group. Christopher oversaw the bank’s lending team in the Greater Portland market, including the market’s C&I, dental and healthcare lending programs. His extensive background in dental lending includes financing startups, acquisitions, partnership buy-ins, expansions and remodels. Today, Christopher is a Senior Vice President on the Commercial Banking Team at Heritage Bank. He is married with two children and enjoys playing golf.
