Porter Flea: Porter Passes (VIP)
Event Information
Description
Skip the line and beat the heat with VIP Passes to Porter Flea on Saturday July 30!
This summer, for the first time ever, Porter Flea is offering a limited number of VIP passes, which we call Porter Passes. Purchasing a Porter Pass allows you to skip the regular admission line at Saturday's Main Market. When you arrive at the entrance gate during your designated entry window, and show your Porter Pass registration, you’ll be granted immediate entry into Porter Flea. No waiting, no hassle.
Plus, when you arrive at the gate with your Porter Pass registration, you’ll be given a special Porter Pass wristband for in-and-out access all day long. Want to take a break from shopping and hit the food trucks? No problem. Just show your wristband on your way back in, and you can skip the line, all day long.
Porter Passes are extremely limited, and must be purchased in advance. You must arrive at the entrance gate, and show your Porter Pass registration, during your designated entry window. Read below for details, and we’ll see you at Porter Flea!
What is a Porter Pass?
A Porter Pass is a VIP ticket to Saturday’s Porter Flea market. Purchasing a Porter Pass has two main benefits, in comparison to regular, free admission entry. First, as a Porter Pass holder, you’ll be permitted to skip the general admission line, and enter Porter Flea with little or no wait. And second, you’ll be granted in-and-out access all day long, meaning you can exit Porter Flea at any time (to hit the food trucks, perhaps?) and re-enter Porter Flea without waiting in line. Nice!
How does it work?
Porter Passes are time specific. When you purchase a Porter Pass, you’ll need to choose the entry window that works best for you. Want to enter between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.? Just register accordingly, and then arrive at the entrance gate during that particular window. (Don’t forget to leave a little extra time for parking.) Look for the signs for Porter Pass entry, show us your registration, and in you go! No waiting, no hassle.
So, I can skip the line?
Yep! You’ll see a regular admission line to Saturday’s market, which you’ll be able to bypass. We’ll have plenty of signs directing you to the main entry gate, where you’ll need to show us your Porter Pass registration, and in you go. Simple!
What is “in-and-out” access?
When you arrive at the gate during your designated entry window, you’ll receive a Porter Pass wristband, granting you in-and-out access during Saturday’s market. Want to take a break from shopping, and hit the food trucks outside? No problem. Just head outside, grab some chow, and you’ll be able to re-enter though the main entrance gate without waiting in line. Without a Porter Pass wristband, you’d need to wait in the regular admission line for re-entry.
What if I miss my entry window?
In order to skip the regular admission line, you must arrive at the entrance gate and show your Porter Pass registration during your designated entry window. Because we have strict capacity limitations (dictated by the fire marshal) you must enter during your designated entry window. You will not be able to enter before or after your designated entry window. If you miss your designated entry window, you will need to wait in the regular admission line to gain access to the market. You will then be granted a Porter Pass wristband, which will grant you in-and-out access for the remainder of the day.
Can I get a refund?
Nope. All Porter Pass sales are final.
Can I transfer my Porter Pass to someone else?
Yep! If you have already purchased a Porter Pass, and would like to transfer your Porter Pass to someone else, you may simply edit the attendee information via the Eventbrite registration page.
Can I change my designated entry time?
Yep! If you have already purchased a Porter Pass, and would like to switch to a different designated entry window, you may transfer your registration via the Eventbrite registration page. There is a small $5 fee for transferring your registration to another time.
Can I purchase Porter Passes at the door?
Maybe. Porter Passes are extremely limited, and we do anticipate that they will sell out. Should any Porter Passes remain available, they may be purchased at the door. Porter Passes purchased in advance are $15, and Porter Passes purchased at the door are $20.
I’m planning to attend with my kid. Does my kid need a Porter Pass, too?
If your kiddo is 12 or older, yes - please purchase two separate Porter Passes for you and for your kiddo. If your kiddo is under 12, your kiddo does not need a Porter Pass. As long as you are in possession of one Porter Pass for yourself, and your kiddo (under 12) enters with you during your designated entry window, you’ll be good to go.
What’s the difference between the Preview Market, Porter Passes, and regular admission?
Porter Flea is a free admission market, held on Saturday July 30 from 10a-5p. Admission is free for all guests via our regular admission line. No advance registration is required.
Because Porter Flea is a popular event, and capacity is limited by the fire marshal, a long entry queue typically forms and lasts all day. Our VIP tickets - which we call Porter Passes - are a means of bypassing the line to Saturday’s market, and entering without a wait. Porter Passes are $15 in advance ($20 at the door, if available), and guarantee access during a designated entry window.
The Preview Market is a separate ticketed event held Friday July 29 from 6-9pm, the night before Porter Flea’s free admission market, for guests wanting first access to Porter Flea vendors and their goods with smaller crowds. Tickets to the Preview Market, which include a complimentary Jackalope brew and several Friday Night Only surprises from our sponsors, must be purchased in advance, and are $25.
