Porkapalooza 2016 will be held on Friday, October 14th from 6:30pm-9:30pm at The Root Cellar in Chapel Hill.
The eagerly anticipated porktastic farm dinner will offer 12 small plate courses, featuring locally raised pork from Seven Springs Farm and beers from Fullsteam Brewery in Durham. This is the 5th anniversary of what has become one of the signature food events in North Carolina.
Porkapalooza diners can expect a variety of pork-centric dishes to enjoy, including: roasted suckling pigs; beer cheese fondue with local sausages; fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese, beer braised crispy pork belly and tomato jam; poutine, featuring sweet potato fries, Seven Springs country gravy and Ashe County cheese; and bacon house-made marshmallow S’mores. Tickets are $65 and include all food, drink and fun but do not include gratuity. We also offer a dinner only (no alcohol) ticket for $55…perfect for underage members of your family or designated drivers.
