“Five-Year Retrospective: How Far We Have Come, and What Lies Ahead”

The Population Health Summit, sponsored by the New York State Health Foundation (NYSHealth), The New York Academy of Medicine (The Academy) and Department of Population Health, NYU Langone Health, seeks to deepen and extend the understanding of ongoing efforts in New York State and nationally that demonstrate effective collaboration between health care and other sectors to advance population health.

A five-year retrospective on the state of population health will examine how far we have come and the field’s readiness to address what lies ahead. A lot has happened over the past five years, and with a new Administration and emerging public health crises such as the opioid epidemic, the time is ripe to reflect and plan ahead.
